The present general conditions of sale (CGV) designated below are likely to formalize the contractual relations between the tenant and the company of hiring C.E.M.S.
Short term rental
- Driver's license
The tenant as well as any driver designated on the contract must hold a driving licence valid for at least 1 year. - Age
The tenant or any other driver must be over 18 years of age. - Booking
Bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Categories A, C, D and E are automatically confirmed.. - Franchise
The amount of the deductible in the event of an accident or theft depends on the category of the rented vehicle.- Category A → 700€
- Category C → 900€
- Category D → 1 500€
- Category E → 1 500€
- Security deposit
A security deposit will be required at the rental of the vehicle. Its amount varies according to the category of the vehicle. It will be paid exclusively by national or international bank card in the name of the tenant (card imprint taken as security) - Minimum duration
The minimum duration of the contract is 24 hours. - Extension
The rental period is fixed and defined on the contract when the vehicle is picked up. If the tenant wishes to extend, he must notify 24 hours in advance. - Assistance
C.E.M.S offers free assistance 24 hours a day with vehicle replacement in the event of mechanical breakdown, not following a loss or negligence of the lessee, preventing the safe circulation of the vehicle. - Fees
- Grand-Case Airport Fee → Free
- Juliana Airport Fee → 25€ per rental
- Options
- Additional driver → 15€ per rental
- Supplement young driver –25 years old → 5€ per day
- Child seat (9 to 18Kgs) → 8€ per day capped at 56€ maximum. Reserved 48 hours in advance. For any deterioration or non-return of the seat, a fixed amount will be invoiced to the tenant.
- Child booster seat → 5€ per day capped at 35€ maximum
- Fuel
Fuel upgrade fee → 10€ per rental.
The vehicles are delivered with a level of gasoline to be returned to the same level on return and clean. In the opposite case, C.E.M.S will invoice the fuel at the price in force increased by the costs of upgrading.
